Est. 1925 Winemaker Mauro Manzone Vineyards 7.5 Ha Production 40000 bottles

Est. 1925 Winemaker Mauro Manzone Vineyards 7.5 Ha Production 40000 bottles The winery was purchased by the Manzone family and founded in 1925 by Giovanni Manzone. His grandson who shared the same name Giovanni began his career as a wine producer in 1965 is also father of the enthusiastic Mauro Manzone who recently joined the business. To this date it is a small family run winery (located approximately 15 km from Alba and 5 km from Barolo) consisting of 8 hectares all planted with vines. Manzone Barolos display a distinctly classic style thanks fairly long macerations ageing in medium-sized oak and bottling without filtration or clarification. All these factors combine to guarantee the clearest possible aromatic expression of the nebbiolo grape. The results are of a consistently high standard throughout the range.
